Buddhism Beliefs Practices : What is Buddhism ?


          Buddhism or Buddha Dharma as it is sometimes called, is a religion. It is the philosophy and psychology, that focus on the teachings of Gautama Buddha. You can find Buddhism has spread throughout the world, many practice this type of religion everyday. It is their way of life.

           There are three traditions of Buddhism. Theravada, Nahayana, and Vajrayana. In simple terms Buddha is when a person discovers their true nature of reality and all through spiritual cultivation. They can do this through meditation, which can do a lot for your spirit, mind, and stress levels. Meditation has really taking on a new meaning in America and have many practicing it today, even though they may not be Buddhist.

           Buddhism is also know as the awakening or enlightenment of ones life. When you are awakened you are following the words of Dharma. Which will help lead you to a moral life and a pure mind. Therefore, through much thought and spiritual healing you can achieve your enlightenment. You will clear your mind and reach that spiritual peace that you have been wanting and needing. That is what religion is all about, no matter what you religion you are. You need to clear your mind and believe. Connect with that part of you that you didn't know existed. Buddhism is all about clearing your mind and living the life with pure intentions.

           It is possible and many do it each and everyday. Buddhism is worldwide and it doesn't matter what nationality you are, you can still practice and learn about Buddhism.
